PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION AT CARSON DMV
Parking will be available across the street while lot is re-worked

The customer parking lot at the Carson City Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed beginning Monday, Oct. 13, when a construction project by the State Public Works begins.

Plans include reducing the lot completely and rebuilding it from the ground up. Better drainage in the new construction is designed to eliminate a winter hazard that presently results in water pooling and freezing near the main entrance of the DMV.

The lot will be closed to parking for about three weeks while the work is completed. Customers of the DMV will be able to park in the Nevada Department of Transportation parking lot on the north side of Wright Way.
