Temporary Trip Permit Requirements
Out of state commercial vehicles with a Combined Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 10,001 pounds or more are required to get a temporary registration permit. All carriers are now required to get permits before entering Nevada.

IFTA Tax Returns
Effective with the first quarter 2012 International Fuel Tax (IFTA) tax returns, due on April 30, 2012, the Motor Carrier Division will cease mailing copies of the quarterly IFTA tax returns to Nevada’s IFTA licensees.
